On Tuesday 11 June, join Shaun Sheldrake, one of our directors and guest Wendy Hetherington, L & D Manager Inland Revenue NZ, for our free webinar Transitioning teams to new beginnings after change.

As organisations go through change, there is often so much attention focussed on the process, that ‘go-live’ can feel like a finish line, rather than the start of something new, the start of bringing the objectives of the change to life.

As both a people leader and a HR Professional, Wendy Heatherington brings unique perspectives to the conversation on how to help teams re-establish and perform.

Wendy brings over 15 years of people leadership experience across both public and private sectors, characterised by a pragmatic leadership style. This is exemplified by her recent roles, where she successfully led remote teams through significant periods of change at, Inland Revenue.

Many members of our Wellington Community are working through the roller coaster of change.  Being sector wide and triggered by a change of Government – and therefore for some a material change of direction – means it can be a bigger deal than the change regularly experienced in large organisations.

Behind the restructure process comes the challenge of getting new/changed teams stood up and people ready to deliver to the new performance demands.  We are beginning to hear from leaders and OD professionals who are looking to get prepared for this phase – and so wanted to bring the expertise of some colleagues we admire to our wider community.
