Leading teams aotearoa

Weaving two cultures for stronger teams

Our uniquely Aotearoa programme empowers leaders to cultivate a sense of purpose, belonging, inclusion, and collaboration within their teams.

Nāu te rourou nāku to rourou
Ka ora ai te iwi
With your basket and my basket,
the people will thrive.

We use the pā harakeke as the metaphor for creating and developing the team.
This programme is tailored for people leaders and managers of front-line or delivery teams. Over a 16-week learning journey, participants will delve into both Māori and Western leadership and team development concepts.

Why invest separately in leadership development and cultural capability development when Leading Teams Aotearoa weaves them both together.

What makes this program unique?

The weaving of Māori and western leadership concepts provides a unique bi-cultural background to foster inclusive approaches to leadership.

We focus on strategies to unify, align and lift teams by cultivating Kotahitanga built on collective kaupapa, and jointly setting priorities.

The building of skills to facilitate their own team to collaborate on solving key problems or undertaking mahi tahi

“This opportunity to really focus on my own leadership and connect with other like-minded people in this space, came at the most valuable time and gave me a range of viewpoints, strategies, and approaches that I can put into my kete of leadership and draw on for many many days to come.”
