Associate Consultant and Coach
Tena koutou tena koutou, tena koutou katoa.
Hello to you all.
I graduated as a social worker in 1979, working in Health and Mental Health before moving into working with organisations. In 1995 I moved into private practice and now work as a People Skills Consultant working with people and teams to support them to achieve their goals.
My roles as a Mediator, Registered Social Worker, Restorative Justice Facilitator and Professional Supervisor all contribute to my coaching practice. This means I can support leaders in complex environments to manage tricky issues of conflict,
grief and loss.
I have coached leaders across a range of professions and sectors. I enjoy helping others work through tough issues in a way, which, while remaining sensitive is also playful.
In 2021 I kicked off a social enterprise ‘Resilient Kids Ltd’ and wrote The Parenting Road Code to support parents raise resilient children (www.resilientkids.org.nz).
My family
My ancestors came from Scotland, Ireland and England over four generations ago. I grew up under the shelter of Mt Meredith next to the Whareama River, however, Mount Ruapehu is close to my heart. I live in Wellington with my husband and have three adult sons and a cat.
Te Tiriti o Waitangi is the cloak that is wrapped around my shoulders.
